As a licensed podiatrist, Dr. Barsky has significant experience treating an array of foot-and ankle-related conditions, including foot and ankle injuries, bunions, hammertoes, plantar warts, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, plantar fasciitis, neuroma, tendinitis, arthritis, flat feet, and pediatric foot care issues. 

In addition, she is skilled in many approaches to foot surgery, including minimally-invasive approaches and traditional techniques, as well as the use of custom orthotics and state-of-the-art treatments like arthroereisis for flat feet. The practice is also equipped with a state-of-the-art digital X-ray and ultrasound machine so patients can receive a diagnosis faster and begin care as soon as possible.

Dr. Barsky believes strongly in providing patient-centered care, providing custom solutions for all types of foot and ankle issues based on each patient’s unique needs for the best possible outcomes. Her professional yet compassionate approach helps every patient feel well taken care of. 

Dr. Barsky earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, graduating with honors. She completed her medical degree at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois, before earning her spot in a competitive foot and ankle surgery residency at Loretto Hospital and the Same Day Surgery Network. 

In addition to treating patients at the Global Podiatry practice, Dr. Barsky is affiliated with several hospitals, including Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital, Loretto Hospital, Macneal Hospital, and Roseland Community Hospital.

At Global Podiatry, Dr. Barsky treats patients from throughout the Chicago region and maintains hours six days a week to serve patients better.
